Repairs I am frequently asked to carry out:

  • Roman and Gothic Chasubles, Dalmatics etc. (reapply gold braiding)

  • Apply patches and darning to worn fabric on chasubles and stoles etc.

  • Making missing maniples (to vestment sets where they are missing) matching the original style, colour and braiding,

  • Darning to worn areas in silk and damask

  • Making new burses or stoles from scratch using the original braiding

  • Modifications to the length of albs, shortening sleeves etc.

  • Applying linen patches to albs for elbows, arms etc.

  • Repair of amices (attaching new tape), cinctures etc.
